At Dhikr Mate, we believe your spiritual practice is private. We treat your data as an Amanah (Trust). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. Unlike other apps, we do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not use your data for advertising profiling.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum data required to provide our services:

  • Account Information: When you sign up via Apple or Google, we store your email address and authentication ID to secure your account.
  • Usage Data: We store your Dhikr logs (counts, timestamps, and streak data) in our encrypted database to provide the "Cloud Sync" and "Heatmap" features.
  • Device Information: We may collect your device model and OS version to help us fix bugs and optimize performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To synchronize your progress across multiple devices.
  • To verify your "Pro" or "Lifetime" subscription status.
  • To send important system notifications (e.g., updates or security alerts).

3. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party infrastructure to ensure security. We do not own your payment data.

  • Supabase: For secure database hosting and authentication.
  • RevenueCat: For processing subscriptions and lifetime purchases. We never see your credit card details; they are handled directly by Apple (App Store) and Google (Play Store).
  • OneSignal: To deliver notifications. You can opt-out of push notifications at any time via your device settings.

4. No Ads & No Data Selling

Dhikr Mate is a paid utility tool, not an ad network. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to marketers or advertisers.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data belongs to you. You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data directly within the app settings or by contacting us. Once deleted, your data is permanently removed from our servers.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email.
